Schwalbe Pro One TLE Road Bike Tyre

The Schwalbe Pro One is the absolute top model from the Schwalbe collection. With this model Schwalbe is setting a new standard in quality and performance. The Pro One road bike tyre is now even faster, smoother and lighter. The Schwalbe Pro One TLE can win the heart of any cyclist after just a few pedal strokes. According to Schwalbe, the new Pro One TLE has 13% less rolling resistance, 22% more grip and increased puncture protection compared to its predecessor.

The Schwalbe Pro One series is the high end racing series from Schwalbe. These tubeless tyres feature the best riding properties to have your road bike fly over the tarmac! Thanks to the supple Super-Race carcass, these tyres rolls smoothly without a lot of rolling resistance. The Addix Race compound ensures maximum grip in corners, and thanks to the V-Guard puncture resistance, this tyre is especially well protected against cut and puncture damage.

'Creating Souplesse'
Schwalbe's new Pro One was created with lightness and ease of riding in mind. Or, as the Pro One catchphrase goes: 'Creating Souplesse'. The Pro One consists of 2 carcass layers under the tread. The use of a double layer makes for a silky smooth riding experience.

What about puncture resistance?
The triple layer sidewall provides additional protection against punctures. A 14mm V-Guard anti-leak protection layer has been added under the tread. This ultra-light leak protection strip made of high-tech polymer fibres reduces susceptibility to punctures from sharp stones and glass. The V-Guard Anti-Puncture Strip extends over the entire tread. Neither the tyre's rolling resistance nor its flexibility are affected by the V-Guard strip. The Schwalbe Pro One lets you enjoy your ride without having to worry about a possible puncture.

A new Addix Race Compound
The new Addix Race Compound is made of the highest quality polymers. The Schwalbe Pro One road bike tyre consists of various compounds. These specially developed compounds were used for both the tread and the sidewalls. As a result, the Pro One adapts better to the road surface, giving you increased grip in the bends, without influencing rolling resistance.

One Pro One for each type of rider
With the new Pro One, Schwalbe is following the current trend of using wider rims. The Schwalbe Pro One has been redesigned to fit the more modern 19C rims. In addition to the Tubeless Easy version, the Pro One also comes in a Tube and TT version.

Addix Race compound
The Addix Race is a multicompound, manufactured from the newest, most high-end polymers. Various especially designed compounds compounds are used in the middle of the tyre and on the sidewalls. This gives more grip in corners, without compromising on rolling resistance or durability.

Super Race Carcass
The Schwalbe Super Race Carcass is an extremely smoothly rolling carcass, with optimised rigidity for maximum grip in corners. The tyre is made from lightweight materials and two carcass layers with puncture protection, to protect both the middle of the tyre and the sidewalls from damage and snakebites.

V-Guard puncture resistance
These Schwalbe Pro One tyres feature V-Guard puncture resistance. This is a 14 mm wide hightech polymer fibre which protects the tyre's entire tread. That's how V-Guard provides extra protection against cuts and flats.

The weight stated by the manufacturer may differ from the actual weight. The deviation is usually small and is due to variations in the production process.

Installation instructions
Schwalbe advises that all Schwalbe Pro One TLE tyres be mounted using Schwalbe Doc Blue latex sealant. They advise using 60ml of Schwalbe Doc Blue latex sealant. It is advised to ride for about 25 km directly after mounting, to break in the tyres. Proper sealing of the new tyre cannot be guaranteed if you choose not to follow these directions.
